What We Are NOT
- Not a government agency — We have no affiliation with the Government of Nepal, the Social Security Fund Board, or MoLESS.
- Not a law firm — Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. For legal questions, consult a qualified Nepali lawyer.
- Not affiliated with SSF — We cannot process claims, update your account, or access SSF systems. Go to ssf.gov.np for official services.
- Not infallible — We do our best, but laws change. Always verify current rules at ssf.gov.np before making financial or legal decisions.
Our Verification Methodology
Every factual claim on this site follows a four-step verification process:
1
Primary Source — Official Legislation
We start with the primary legal texts: Contribution Based Social Security Act 2074, Operating Procedure 2075, Act to Amend Some Nepal Acts 2082, Labour Act 2074, and related Nepal Gazette publications.
2
Official SSF Communications
We cross-reference with ssf.gov.np official publications, MoLESS press releases, and SSF Board announcements.
3
Published Legal Commentary
We verify against published analyses from Nepali law firms and professional commentary (primelawnepal.com, vidhilegal.com, lawbhandari.com, notarynepal.com, etc.).
4
Date-Stamped Verification
Every verified fact is tagged with its verification date. Data verified: May 2026. When facts conflict between sources, we note the conflict and direct users to the official source.
Items We Explicitly Flag as Unverified
⚠️ Pension Formula — Unverified as of May 2026
We found two conflicting pension calculation formulas in official and semi-official sources. Rather than show a potentially incorrect estimate, we flag this openly and direct users to ssf.gov.np or info@ssf.gov.np for their personal pension projection.
