How to Claim After an Accident

1
Seek immediate medical attention
Go to nearest SSF-empanelled hospital if possible. In emergencies, any hospital is fine.
2
Notify SSF within 7 days
Inform SSF of the accident — call 1116 (NTC) or 1660-01-55555, or email info@ssf.gov.np.
3
Also notify your employer
Your employer must file an accident report with SSF. If they refuse, file directly.
4
Submit claim documents
Medical bills, discharge summary, FIR (if applicable), photos, employer accident report.
5
SSF medical subcommittee assessment
For disability claims, an SSF medical panel assesses the degree of disability and determines pension amount.
6
Receive payment
Cashless at empanelled hospital, or reimbursement to bank account within processing period.
